Is there life on Mars?: This popular 20th century song by David Bowie has inspired generations of travelers to visit “the Red Planet”. Today the answer is “yes, very much so” as almost a century of terraforming have left the surface of Mars more green and blue than red, however, the crimson sky still remains. These posters published by the Mars Tourism Bureau (MTB) capture the power and the glory of Mars’ most popular tourist destinations: Olympus Mons, Valles Marineris and the Seven Sisters.

The resilience of radio: Aided by powerful booster arrays such as these on Phobos, moon of Mars, radio enthusiasts have managed to keep “the art” relevant despite great advances in other communications technologies. A little known fact is that AM radio was the second human generated carried signal to break the light-speed barrier.
